I do not know what information sources you used for your statement abount pine,
but they are wrong.
pine 4.64 was only released about a week before the official final release date
of 10.0, and at that time, it was absolutely far too late do do version updates
of packages, so I think that you cannot seriously complain about pine not being
4.64 in 10.0, but the pine in all later SUSE versions has been 4.64, not as you
stated "stagnant at 4.63".
4.65 is not released and will likely only be if a security issue is found in
4.64 because the pine developers stopped development of pine under the name
"pine" but moved the source to a new proced called "alpine" which is released
under the Apache OSS licence (pine's license does not conform to the OSS
guidelines).
Alpine 0.98 has been released recently and you are welcome to try it out, more
info on pine and alpine is found on these web pages:
As I assume that german is your native language, two german sites:
http://de.opensuse.org/Pine <- I updated this page to have the most complete
info
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pine (less complete)
English info:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pine_%28e-mail_client%29
Since the tla issue is already benging handled and the pine issue
was the only other issue reported (it's preferred to report issues
into separate bug entries, but as they were simple here it wasn't a
problem), I'm resolving this bug for the pine part as invalid.
