OK now we have Kernel 2.6.21-3-default, can we try and solve this issue now ?
As of todays update I see AlsaMixer v1.0.14rc2 showing
│ Card: HDA Intel
│ Chip: Conexant CX20549 (Venice)
│ View: [Playback] Capture All
│ Item: Ext Mic [dB gain=34.50, 34.50]
Output from headphones = 0,
output from speaker is audible only above 60% and at 100% is so faint you can't
hear it if someone speaks at normal level at the same time.
Input from external Microphone=0
