00:07.1 IDE interface: Intel Corporation 82371AB/EB/MB PIIX4 IDE (rev 01)

Booting the installation or rescue system takes approximately:

        basic drivers:  25s
        ata_piix:       1:45min (!!)
        usb devices:    35s
        ieee1394:       15s

Booting 10.2 is much faster, and suppressing ata_piix thus using piix instead
is much faster too, but gives the old hdX again.

The harddisk and dvdrom are there, but the cdwriter is missing - that looks
like it's significant. The cdwriter hardware works (w 10.2). Yast logs and last
boot dmesg attached.
