"I suggest adding synchronization with a time server to yast2 timezone, similar
to the feature Windows XP has."
If you enter "yast2 timezone" at a terminal, you will get a setup menu for
"Clock and Timezone". If you now click the "Change" button, you get a box
letting you change the values for "time" and "date".
My suggestion aims at adding a button to this box that lets you set up NTP from
here. ( See attached screenshot )
For people not wanting to run a full sized NTP server just to get their time
synchronized every now and then it could also be achieved with a timer that
fires rdate at predefined intervals.
