https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=259790 Summary: Suse installer panics if additional data partition is corrupted Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: SuSE Linux 10.1 Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: estellnb@lycos.at QAContact: jsrain@novell.com If you choose to mount in additional data partitions (/data, /data1, ...) and one of these partitions is corrupted the Suse installer will simply panic and abort installation. This is really unnecessary since no system components will be placed on such a partition. The respective partition should be automatically commented out in fstab. Nevertheless the installation must proceed (at best just with an error message). This error persist in OpenSuse10.2. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
