Summary: not bootable after manual update
Product: openSUSE 10.3
Version: Alpha 2plus
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Blocker
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Basesystem
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: adrian@xxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx
CC: ro@xxxxxxxxxx
I did a manual update of my system from Factory to Factory from friday.
The system did not boot anymore afterwards because
kernel (/dev/hda2)/boo...
initrd (/dev/hda2)/boo...
entries were created, instead of
kernel (hd0,1)/boo...
entries. I have seen a similar problem on Rudis ia32 apple notebook.
