https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=255160 Summary: createing initrd with mkinitrd for nfsroot= error Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel AssignedTo: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: marko.kolenko@neosystems.si QAContact: qa@suse.de When creatin initrd with mkinitrd -m "e100 nfs" -D eth0 and using it with pxeboot with nfsroot=xyz... results to an error. Just after mounting the rootfs "unknown nfs mount option: user_xattr" is printed and kernel panics. In server side logs successful mount is logged. I suspect that user_xattr_user option is used for mounting root fs, as if it was physical drive.
