Summary: Compiz Water Effect causes screen flickering
Product: openSUSE 10.2
Version: Final
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Xgl
AssignedTo: dreveman@xxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: tm.mst@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: bperry@xxxxxxxxxx
I'm using Compiz version 0.3.7-15.1@x86_64 with xgl (git_070103-15.1@86_64) on
an Nvidia 7600gs with the CS driver.
Trying the water waves with Ctrl-Super first works in KDE like it should, but
when I open a program via Kicker like Firefox, the wave-effect disappears
immediately an my screen begins to flicker like mad.
