Summary: Broken grub config when installing on a two disk system
Product: openSUSE 10.2
Version: Final
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Major
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Installation
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: jjaeger@xxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: jsrain@xxxxxxxxxx
CC: bg@xxxxxxxxxx

Attempted a net install of 10.2 on a two disk machine which went nicely until
the system tried to boot for the second part of the installation.

I got a "missing OS" message and later found out that device.map and menu.lst
were broken in that they didn't reference the disks properly.

We had to manually adjust the disk mapping in device.map and adjust the paths
in menu.lst as well.

Will attach hwinfo and full y2logs in a second.
