https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=250117 Summary: Time Zone Doesn't Require an Expert Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 1plus Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: rwalter@novell.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com The time zone configuration in the installation proposal is placed on the expert tab, but it doesn't take an expert to adjust the time zone. This should be fixed. I propose that we use one of the following solutions: 1) Unsplit the installation proposal. Only 3 items are on the "expert" tab as far as I can tell and this one doesn't require an expert. That leaves two items: Boot, which is nice to verify before installing, especially if you have a multiple boot system like many new users have and want to make sure that you can still start your other systems, and the system information one that mainly provides information. You can view info even if not an expert, but I do understand that only experts should mess with the PCI settings. 2) Put the time zone in the overview. 3) Rename the expert tab to something more appropriate to the content. I filed this as a 10.3 bug because that is the soonest we can consider making any of these changes. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
