I agree that libpython is way too advanced for the poor valgrind.
If you curiously inspect your hand with a scalpel, you will bleed. Workaround:
don't do that.
If you curiously inspect rpmbuild with valgrind, you will get spurious errors.
Workaround: don't do that.
Yes, FIXTOOHARD is a member of the set WONTFIX.
