------- Comment #11 from fischer@xxxxxxxxxxxx 2007-02-01 07:17 MST -------
Sorry for the delay, but I was out of office.
Here's some additional information on what happens:
======
galadriel login: fischer
Password:
Last login: Thu Feb 1 14:54:07 CET 2007 on tty3
Have a lot of fun...
No directory /nfs/home/fischer!
Logging in with home = "/".
======
So no access to home directory here. This is where all the gssd errors in
/var/log/messages appear. Further digging shows:
=====
galadriel /> klist -e
klist: No credentials cache found (ticket cache FILE:/tmp/krb5cc_1026)
Kerberos 4 ticket cache: /tmp/tkt1026
klist: You have no tickets cached
=====
So one can perform a kinit manually, from which point on everything works as
desired.
Now here comes the interesting part:
If I do a kdestroy right after the kinit, plus manually delete my credenitials
cache (/tmp/krb5cc_1026), it still works, until the tgt obtained by the kinit
expires.
