In fact, when I thought maybe I had somehow erased them, I went ahead and used
YaST to add them.  When next I went to print, there were 2 entries for each
printer - the original entries, and the two new versions.  I used KDE printer
controls to remove the extras and get it back correctly.

Anyhow, any time I open printers in yast, it is empty. So far KDE is the only
way for me to manage printers, including the 3rd samba printer I added for Work
yesterday.
