Unfortunately, I completely lost keyboard control over the computer when
starting the Xorg as you have described. So I had to attach to the running X
process via ssh login.

Here's the result:

I suppose that one of the NULL pointer has been dereferenced, here.
(BTW: I'm still using the driver RPM as of 10.2 final)
