Summary: Issues with Debian package of osc
Product: openSUSE.org
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: BuildService
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: mj@xxxxxx
QAContact: adrian@xxxxxxxxxx

I've tried to install the Debian package for osc and I was a little bit
surprised by the following things:

(1) Although the package seems to be written in Python with no binary bits,
it's still architecture-dependent. Is there a reason for that?

(2) The package depends on the `build' package, but if I understand correctly,
this is necessary only if one wishes to build packages locally. As it doesn't
seem to be the common case, I think that mentioning it in `Recommends:' would
be better.
