https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=233562 Summary: Compiz is started without gconf plugin Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: raghugs@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Compiz is started in kde without gconf plugin, You can say that this is done on purpose to prevent loading of gnome stuff in kde, But as of now there is no way to store settings made to compiz without gconf support, And there is no compiz configuration tools that uses other means if any to store the settings. So gconf plugin support is mandatory. And it seems compiz is loaded in a non-standard way (patching stuff) in KDE, If you package compiz creating compiz.sh in /opt/kde3/env , would be great, -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
