[Bug 230730] cups: tcp_wrappers refused connection from unknown

"cupsd: UNKNOWN: ALLOW" _is_ valid if tcpd was built with -DPROCESS_OPTIONS as
indicated in the description section of hosts_access(5).
Anyways, this bug is _not_ about access control file format!
Rather it is about cups _not_ working with a perfectly fine /etc/hosts.allow!
Therefore, as the initial reporter I do back the opinion that this is a BUG,
hereby reopening!
There is clearly a bug in the tcp wrapper patch used for cups. Without the
workarounds of comment #3 or #5, cupsd would not even be usable in a network!
If this was for SSH, would you propose adding 'sshd : UNKNOWN' to
/etc/hosts.allow as fix and resolve the bug?
