Gnome 2 will move to /usr for openSUSE 10.3 and KDE 4 will follow to /usr as
well, while KDE 3 will stick in /opt for compatibility reasons.

The release notes should point to this and point out that this might require a
different partition layout for people who use separate /usr and /opt
partitions. 

Updaters might need to resize these partitions.
