can you have a look what goes wrong here.
Was there any fix for the Epson Stylus Photo R320 driver
in Gutenprint?

Attachment #108292 looks like a bug in the printer driver.
We don't have your particular model but I got similar bad results
with my Epson Stylus Photo RX 420.

what exactly do you mean with 'compiling the source "Gutenprint 5.0.0"'?
Which exact source did you compile?
Our openSUSE 10.2 sources of our gutenprint package
or sources from the Gutenprint project home page?
Did you use any "configure" options?

Which exact PPD file do you use now?
Pease attach your current /etc/cups/ppd/<queue-name>.ppd
to this bug with mime type text/plain.


The severity is not "critical" because there is no system crash or loss of data
