I tried to make a directory as root in /media. Helas I get an error message:
No such file or directory


Example:
groot:/media # l
total 1
drwxrwxr-x  2 root root   0 Jan  1 16:12 ./
drwxr-xr-x 28 root root 944 Jan  1 14:41 ../
groot:/media # md dvd
mkdir: cannot create directory `dvd': No such file or directory
groot:/media #

How can I improve?
