Summary: Login command results in permission error/crash.
Product: openSUSE 10.2

Status: NEW
Severity: Critical
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Basesystem

When running the login command from within openSuSE 10.2 (Gnome) I get the
following error:

FATAL: cannot change permissions of TTY: Operation not permitted

When run as root (via su or sudo) the terminal just crashes. This same bug is
also present in SLED 10. If you require any other details please email me.

Thanks,

Mark.
