[Bug 204745] OpenSUSE 10.2 alpha 4 fails to boot after installing on x86-64 with existing LVM patition setup

I ran the repair install option off of the installation cd. Then selected the
repair partitions option. I don't remember the exact names of the options but
that is basically what I did.
