Summary: Installation aborts when mounting a non-required
partition fails
Product: openSUSE 10.2
Version: Final
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: YaST2
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: misc@xxxxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: jsrain@xxxxxxxxxx

I started installation with a totally empty harddisk and did following
partitioning:

a) setup a 10 GB partition for windows and set mountpoint to /media/Windows
b) setup a swap and root partition and format it with ext3/swap

Before installation starts the installer complained, that /media/Windows could
not be mounted (which is ok, as it is yet unformated) and aborted, which is not
ok, as /media/Windows is not critical for installation.

Solution:
a) Detect if a mounted partition is critical or not (e.g. by checking if it is
some of the default paths) or
b) When mounting fails inform the user and let him decide if to proceed or not.
