Well, not quite so.
s2disk segfaults, because the kernel oopses during suspend.

Can you try it with init=/bin/bash?

basically, boot with init=/bin/bash, then

mount /proc
mount /sys
swapon -a

to prepare the system, then run

pm-hibernate

to suspend.
It might be a bad driver module, although i do not see an obvious offender in
the modules list, but i have not suspended with
matrox_w1, wire, snd_ens1371 and siiimage, so i'd guess one of those is to
blame (if it is a driver problem)
