it seems release date of python-ldap 2.2.1 of python-ldap was too late for
making it into OpenSUSE 10.2. But since you're shipping Python 2.5 together
with python-ldap 2.2.0 you SHOULD look into this bug causing crashes:

I'd recommend to provide an updated package of python-ldap based on release
2.2.1.
