------- Comment #14 from wolfgang@xxxxxxxxxxxxx 2006-12-18 05:32 MST -------
32bit browsers like your Firefox (guessed from /usr/lib/firefox) read
/usr/lib/browser-plugins while seamonkey (which is /usr/lib64/seamonkey for
you) would read /usr/lib64/browser-plugins.
No need to change anything manually.

OK, let's summarize:
- you have MozillaFirefox*.i586.rpm and
seamonkey*.x86_64.rpm installed

That means that you won't get any plugins which are only available in 32bit for
SeaMonkey.
Therefore your test for Firefox plugins is valid (although you don't have
acrobat reader installed). Nothing wrong here.

Your Java test for SeaMonkey is also valid since there is no 64bit plugin
available. It shouldn't try to load the 64bit plugin but this might be a local
configuration error.

So I see no bugs here at least but only 32<->64 bit issues which are well known
and because of that we install the 32bit Firefox under x86-64 as well.
This doesn't happen with seamonkey automatically but you can switch to the
32bit version by installing it.
