https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=229156 Summary: zypper shell broken "remove sources" Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: libzypp AssignedTo: kkaempf@novell.com ReportedBy: seth.arnold@novell.com QAContact: kkaempf@novell.com When using the zypper shell, removing multiple repositories / package sources can do surprising things. I upgraded my SLED10 system to OS10.2, and wanted to replace the 10.1 repositories I had configured with the 10.2 versions. In the zypper shell, I removed one, asked for a service list, removed another one, asked for a service list, and found that zypper had removed unrelated repositories. Sorry for no cut-n-paste, it's on a machine without easy network access. (Incidently, I'd like a way to abort the shell without making these kinds of changes permanent. It'd have been nice to be able to bail out after noticing the errors..) If you've got trouble reproducing, I'd be happy to go through the effort of reproducing -- and happier if you could give me the filenames to backup to easily return to my old configuration. :) Thanks -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
