I'm having a HP nx8220 laptop.
Running powersave with openSUSE 10.1 didn't had any problems with powersave
(except I needed to switch graphical boot to text mode: vga=0x379 to vga=0x0 in
"/boot/grub/menu.lst").

Fresh installation of openSUSE 10.2 results now in freezes when Suspending
system.

I see these two lines in the console, and then the system doesn't do anything
anymore:
  Perparing hibernate...
  suspend: Snapshotting system

I waited several minutes, and then did the 8 secs push of the powerbutton.
