I configured Xgl to allow cube flipping when you move the mouse over to the edge. Now for some unknow reason it doesn't work. I can use the Ctrl + Alt and the arrow keys to flip the screen. I can even drag an app over to the edge and it flips with no problems. I have disabled the always flip setting and enabled it again no luck. I have disabled xgl rebooted and enabled xgl rebooted and still no luck. Unfortunatly I don't know any other things to try.
