[Bug 227560] New: Video (film) distorted on Intel 915 w/ 3D acceleration enabled
- From: bugzilla_noreply@xxxxxxxxxx

- Message-id: <bug-227560-21960@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/>
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=227560
Summary: Video (film) distorted on Intel 915 w/ 3D acceleration
enabled
Product: openSUSE 10.2
Version: Final
Platform: i686
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: X.Org
AssignedTo: sndirsch@xxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: silviu.marin-caea@xxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: sndirsch@xxxxxxxxxx
This is the video board:
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 915GM/GMS/910GML
Express Graphics Controller (rev 03) (prog-if 00 [VGA])
Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company NX6110/NC6120
With 3D acceleration enabled in YaST, the video in kaffeine of mplayer is
elongated vertically and is misplaced in the actual video window. Like the
overlay position does not coincide with the player window. If I move the
player window down the screen, the film moves even further down, and more blue
color appears at the top of the player window.
I think the video players get the aspect ratio wrong or something.
The monitor is 1400x1050; I'll attach the hardware information from YaST.
With 3D acceleration disabled, movie playing works as it should, no problem.
