- From: bugzilla_noreply@xxxxxxxxxx
- Date: Mon, 11 Dec 2006 01:48:48 -0700 (MST)
- Message-id: <bug-227555-21960@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/>
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=227555
Summary: Intersil isl3890 firmware is not installable with YaST2
Product: openSUSE 10.2
Version: Final
Platform: All
OS/Version: SuSE Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Minor
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Installation
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: jarl@xxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: jsrain@xxxxxxxxxx
In SuSE 10.0 There was a package called something like "Download Intersil 3890
firmware", which as I remember installed a small script that fetched the
firmware from http://www.prism54.org/firmware/1.0.4.3.arm (OK the URL was maybe
another one by that time). Then by installing this package, prism54 based cards
would work straight away.
It would be nice if such a package would become part of SuSE again.
