- From: bugzilla_noreply@xxxxxxxxxx
- Date: Sun, 3 Dec 2006 17:48:37 -0700 (MST)
- Message-id: <bug-225664-21960@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/>
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=225664
Summary: nautilus runs update-mime-database with the wrong prefix
Product: openSUSE 10.3
Version: unspecified
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: GNOME
AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: andreas.hanke@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx
nautilus installs the following file:
/opt/gnome/share/mime/packages/nautilus.xml
But in its %post/%postun scriptlets, it does:
usr/bin/update-mime-database usr/share/mime >/dev/null
=> The mime association won't work unless another package which is installed
later incidentally runs update-mime-database with the correct prefix, in this
case opt/gnome/share/mime.
