- From: bugzilla_noreply@xxxxxxxxxx
- Date: Sun, 3 Dec 2006 08:22:36 -0700 (MST)
- Message-id: <bug-225651-21960@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/>
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=225651
Summary: Support for GFS
Product: openSUSE 10.2
Version: RC 1
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Enhancement
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Kernel
AssignedTo: kernel-maintainers@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: hwit@xxxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx
Obviously, the 2.6.19 kernel will not make it in the GM!
(afaik, rc1 uses 2.6.18-2)
However, this kernel officially supports GFS.
Is it possible to bump-up the priority of the newest kernel,
and have a quick kernel-update?
Or is a kernel-upgrade not feasable at this moment.
My colleges are hoping that GFS-support wil not be postponed till 10.3...
