https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=225641 Summary: s2ram reads options from old powersave config file Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: RC 1 Platform: i686 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: kde@3danim.de QAContact: qa@suse.de The testing system is a Sony Vaio T1XP with a fresh installation of openSUSE 10.2 RC 1. When triggering suspend to ram, it appears that options are read from /etc/sysconfig/powersave/sleep instead of /etc/pm/config. I have set the '--force' option in /etc/pm/config, however when suspending to ram from the kpowersave context menu, the system attempts to suspend but instead of powering off, comes back complaining about '--force' not being set. (As said, '--force' is set, just not in /etc/sysconfig/powersave/sleep). Furthermore, the s2ram scripts still point the user to /etc/sysconfig/powersave/sleep for configuration which should be fixed. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
