See above (*no*deadkeys). Reconfigure with YaST2.

Well, I'm afraid I cannot help here. For whatever reasons something overwrites
the xorg.conf keyboard settings during the Xsession start. I suggest to
configure your keyboard layout with KDE/Gnome control center - depending on
which desktop you use.
