I got same problem in openSUSE 10.2 RC1
It's very very slow(in XFS) while copying a large file( >100MB ).
Everything's slower than in KDE. VERY VERY SLOW！ To copy a 128MB file it took
4-5mins. (several seconds in KDE/cp).
