I am not sure if this is the same bug, but whatever I set in the KDE control
center, the screen goes black (engergy saving) after a few minutes. This is not
a 'screen saver', but a TFT killer!
The behaviour is caused by the xset dpms settings (xset q --> Standby 600,
Suspend 1200, Off 1800). Tested with openSUSE 10.2 beta 2. Same problem is in
SUSE 10.1.
