[Bug 199256] ncurses interface a little "flaky"

I've just disabled xmc support for ncurses now. Maybe Thomas want to know that
the cause for the flaky ncurses or glitches was the change in curses done with
ncurses-5.5-20060422.patch as seen from comment #19 and patch in
attachment #104389 of comment #20.
