Unfortunately I no longer have any of the system files left. I suppose thats
the problem with system restore failing. I was able to save the directory, I
thought, to send the bug, however the partition has now been formatted as
System restore failed to run suseconfig after reading the file locally and
system restore didn't system restore and to add insult to injury the backup of
my /home directory could not be recovered as KDAR wrote a file with a corrupt
header - there is no verify option with KDAR - However reproducing the problem
is simple if you have an off-line test PC, which I don't unfortunately. ALL you
need to do is perform a system backup to a NFS drive and just try to locate the
file without the browse button. This will probably leave us with a wontfix,
however I pity the next person to rely on System Restore.
