[Bug 178321] LVM snapshot creation fails

Mybe I wasn't clear about where the udev troubles start:
The diff between 10.1 GA and 10.1 with current updates is the problem. Newer
udev versions still exhibit the problem. I even have a patch for the udev rules
which fixes this (and the patch is a revert of the udev updates for this bug).
