Not 100% sure this is an openssl problem but I think so. If not please
reassign.

I just installed imap package and configured imaps/pop3s via yast2 xinetd. 

After I connect to pop3s the connection is closed right after I connect:

dhcp41:/var/log #  telnet localhost 995
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.
Escape character is '^]'.
Connection closed by foreign host.
dhcp41:/var/log #       

And I have the following info in /var/log/mail.err:
Nov  1 13:32:34 dhcp41 ipop3d[16166]: SSL error status: error:25066067:DSO
support routines:DLFCN_LOAD:could not load the shared library
Nov  1 13:32:34 dhcp41 ipop3d[16166]: SSL error status: error:25070067:DSO
support routines:DSO_load:could not load the shared library



Interesting is this happens only on i386. Its running perfectly fine on x86_64.
