SHIFT +Click and CTRL + click are standard CUA conventions. I find the comment
#10
a non functional value opinion. Confusion only exists when an established
conventions are NOT observed - hence the bug report.

To say that the view mode has anything to do with a function convention is
wrong.

If we wish to entise users from a MS O/S then certainly we should observe the
same function conventions. Without standards in adhering to a very wide number
of users who expect the same functional conventions to work is not unrealistic.

These CUA standards were conceived and go back as far a MS O/S was created.
This convention is far from new and is as old as CTRL + C CTRL + X and CTRL + V
as well as SHFT + right cursor control.
