Access YAST>Software management

The on line update source is then queried for addition to the local catalog?

The software Management screen is left on the screen for a very log time.

Error is attached as screen shot.

Note the current online update source is perfectly capable of updating software
normally in an on line update.

I do not undertand why the online catalogue is queried to add/delete the local
catalog - This is perhaps true to establish if there are any updates to the
software catalog held locally.

After ignoring the error - update/deletion o software functions correctly.

I understand you will require log files, however as the information page of
attaching a variety of different log files I will leave it to you to request
the specific files needed to trouble shoot this bug
