https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=210940 ------- Comment #10 from swesemeyer@hotmail.com 2006-10-14 02:08 MST ------- I raised the bug #210932 which was marked as duplicate of this and in my case installing freeglut fixed the original gnome-xgl-settings problem of it not recognizing that 3D accelaration was enabled. It now detects it and offers to enable the Desktop effects. However, clicking on the button to enable it does nothing. Even after logging out and back in again, the desktop effects are still not enabled. Starting it from the command line spews out loads of (gnome-xgl-settings:6230): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_list_store_set_valist: assertion `GTK_IS_LIST_STORE (list_store)' failed Mind you, I'm running it from within a Konsole in KDE rather than Gnome but that was not a problem in 10.1. Happy to provide any logs if required. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
