We're trying to decide if we should file a separate bug on this. It can lead to data loss. The issue for us, let's say you have two disks for two separate OS versions. When you install, you tell YaST to not re-format any of the first disk partitions because you want that preserved. You tell it to format partitions in the 2nd disk. Later, when you have the chance to create the autoyast control file at the end of installation, the control file has format set to true for everything. If you use that control file on the system, then disk A is formatted even though that doesn't match what you did in the "golden" installation prior to creating the autoyast file. We also observed if you try to fix up the autoyast control file in the autoinstallation gui, it is still saved with format set to true. This was observed with SLES10 GM. Is this bug filed right? Product here is set to SUSE Linux 10.1. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
