After creating the third tab in a gnome-terminal window the window resizes
itself larger.  All subsequent new tabs also trigger window resizing (still
larger).  Additionally, after the third tab, all tab switching events trigger
similar window resizing.  Behavior is as expected when only 2 tabs exist.
