https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=209625 Summary: Traditional multihead absent in SUSE Linux 10.1 with Matrox G550 Product: SUSE Linux 10.1 Version: Final Platform: x86 OS/Version: SuSE Linux 10.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: SaX2 AssignedTo: ms@novell.com ReportedBy: cmartin@tiscali.cz QAContact: qa@suse.de Traditional multihead absent in SaX2 configuration dialog with Matrox G550. Xinerama does not work correctly. In xinerama mode x.org server (with 2 physical displays installed) assumes display AND desktop (too) geometry is equal to height of one display and width is sum of two displays. Desktop is then distributed over both displays but if window is maximized its center is in dividing line between displays and window is on both displays. I think that desktop geometry should be appropriate sum of geometry of all displays and maximized window should fit to one display only. --- lspci --- 0000:01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Matrox Graphics, Inc.
