After the commands:

  Xnest :1 &
  xterm -display :1 &

xterm exists with the following error:

X Error of failed request:  BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)
  Major opcode of failed request:  45 (X_OpenFont)
  Serial number of failed request:  68
  Current serial number in output stream:  69

Other terminal programs do not display this behaviour.
