https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=207410 Summary: dm-raid: Installation aborts when probing harddisks Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Alpha 4 plus Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: fehr@novell.com ReportedBy: fhassel@novell.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com I'm using a Dawicontrol DC-154 fake-raid controller (Silicon Image SiI 3114 Chip) with RAID-1 functionally enabled in the controller's BIOS. While YaST is probing harddisks, the installation stops with error message "An error occured during the installation". I attach hwinfo in one file and the following information in another file: fdisk -l dmsetup ls dmsetup info dmsetup table /proc/partitions /proc/mounts /proc/swaps /proc/mdstat Also I will attach the YaST logs. I actually enabled Y2DEBUG (if this is not necessary for further bug reports, please tell me). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
