[Bug 204324] Broken vesa driver

Apparently a sync to 19 Sept update to inst-source/boot/i386/root and the
install kernel and initrd on mirrors.kernel.org happened shortly after my
installation attempt described in comment 35 . I just tried again with that new
version on i810 and got the same failure. Xorg.0.log ends with the same
backtrace and signal 11 as in attachment 98427 . Again core dumped. I see no
alpha5 to test.
